23,6x23,6 in ~ Malerei, Acryl
Continuing with my new serie inspired by Brancusi’s sculptures , I had my eyes on the “princess X” sculpture, an artwork that is considered a snag in the sacrosanct difference between men and women, an artwork that disturbs by its ambiguity.
The sculpture “Princess X” is the bust portrait of Princess Marie Bonaparte, Napoleon's grand niece. Ironically, this princess rose to fame for bringing Freud's ideas to France, especially those relating to sexuality.
